What Every Serious Business Owner Should Know in Order to Create Sustainable Profitable Growth & Dominate Their Market

Having contributed to the financial success of more than a thousand small businesses and Fortune 500 companies throughout North America who sell products & services to global markets, we have identified the patterns that limit and restrict business growth. More importantly, we know what to do to prevent it from happening, or can reverse the trend if it has already infected a business. If you lack having an effective marketing strategy in your business that is measurable and produces results, we can help. In a minute, we'll talk about marketing strategy & tactics. But first, we want to you to consider some important facts.

Most Business Owners Only Use & Market a Fraction of Their Full Potential

NEXTLevel is a very unique firm. We build high-profit companies through the development & deployment of a "Systematized Growth Strategy Blueprint" that focuses on the critical areas of your business that has the greatest impact on increasing your bottom-line profits and creating customers for life. We are the creators of a very comprehensive step-by-step process we've branded called "The 7-Disciplines". Let's take a look at how NEXTLevel helps guide you through the process.

The 7-Disciplines

  1. Strategic Innovation- (You'll work one-on-one with an entrepreneurial business coach to strengthen your leadership skills and develop a laser-focused mindset. We'll help prioritize your daily calendar giving you more time to work ON your business vs. working IN your business. You'll establish a new vision for growth & build a systematized growth strategy blueprint to achieve your objectives).
  2. Competitive Advantage- (Competitive advantage is the DNA of every business and every brand. Helping enterprise organizations identify, train & market their competitive advantage is one of our greatest strengths. Before any marketing investment is ever made, a laser-focus competitive advantage & Unique Selling Proposition (USP) will be clearly identified & differentiated from your competition).
  3. Market Intelligence- (Having accurate, up-to-date information regarding your past & present customers is critical to growing your business. Understanding customers NEEDS vs. WANTS will allow you to position your products & services for increased profitability. Also, having a better understanding of your competition's sales & marketing strategies will strengthen your leverage with customers. Although NEXTLevel is not a research firm, we do conduct market intelligence surveys and use this powerful information to help our clients drive more profitable growth).
  4. Lead Generation & Conversion- (Is growing your business more about "Getting more customers" or"Creating a more effective lead generation process"? Lead capture, lead seduction, and lead conversion is the heartbeat of any marketing enterprise. We've developed a"Conversion optimization" process that integrates your direct marketing & website investment and gets prospects to take action).
  5. Creative Marketing- (When online & offline marketing is structured into an integrated process where Strategy, Planning, Implementation & Evaluation are engineered, prospects are transformed into fanatically loyal customers, your  brands outperform your competition and high-profit companies are built. Our process has been tested & proven. All you have to do is take advantage of it).
  6. Internet Marketing- (The internet is constantly evolving and becoming more time consuming to manage. Keeping up with the changes nessary to compete is overwhelming for most small business owners. We conduct an assessment of how your website is currently performing and what incremental changes can be improved. Then we help develop and implement these changes including search engine optimization strategies).
  7. Strategic Selling- (Less than 1% of the salespeople & marketers in the world truly understand the "Principles of Human Influence". The chosen few who do are considered the rainmakers. During our intense training, you will learn why people really buy, what truly motivates them, how their brain reacts to strategic selling methods and how to present your products & services to tap into prospects cognitive neuroscience conditioning).

What's important for business owners like you to know is that ALL OF THE 7-DISCIPLINES MUST WORK TOGETHER SYNERGISTICALLY in order to build a high-profit company. NEXTLevel understands that most business owners only use & market a fraction of their full potential. Why? Because they're too busy working as"Technicians"  IN their business, versus"Entrepreneurs" working ON their business. That's why they hire us.

Let's talk about Strategy Vs. Tactics

Most companies we've worked with including Fortune 500 companies, are not very effective at understanding and deploying the difference between strategy and tactics. Perfect example: Have you ever witnessed a Super Bowl commercial that cost millions of dollars to produce and after reviewing it's 30 second debut had no clue what the company's competitive advantage was or what their value proposition was?

That's our point. Companies are loosing millions of dollars in revenue profits because they lack a laser focus on marketing their competitive advantage. Are you one of them? If you are, that's okay. As Tony Robbins once said:"The past does not equal the future."

Strategy is thinking outside the box. It means that you have determined in advance, the ultimate goal you would like to achieve in relation to each tactic.

Tactics are the things you put into place to help achieve your goal. A tactic is a sales or marketing effort created by you such as: a meeting with a new client, a direct mail card, a trade show exhibit, a trade publication ad, or posting a blog.

Keep in mind that before you deploy one of these tactics, you must determine in advance, the outcome you desire. In other words, begin with the end in mind. Let's say you are having an interaction with a new prospect (like a sales call) and we ask you what you want to achieve? Most likely, what we hear is, "to make a sale." But we would challenge you to think more strategic in an effort to have a greater outcome.

Maybe your goal is to build a preemptive strategy for "disempowering your competition." Or, you might want to engage a customer loyalty program or plant the seed to increase the number of referrals you are getting. It might be that you want to educate your clients with better information; knowing that every client you have is a potential salesperson for your organization. Ask yourself this question:"What do I want my clients to say about me, about our company?" Have you planted all the right seeds of strategic positioning into your tactical interface?

What does this have to do with marketing?

Everything! Here's another great example. At our first introduction with client prospects, we ask the question: "What business are you in?" Almost always, we hear "We're in the plastics business, the information technology business, the widget building business. We're CPAs, lawyer, financial planners, etc."

Wrong! You're all in the marketing business.

No company can survive and sell their products & services at higher profits without marketing. Of "The 7 Disciplines", marketing is the most critical to the success of any business. And yet, so many business owners have only a fragmented marketing strategy at best. In fact, in an effort to SAVE MONEY, marketing is placed in the hands of people who are not qualified or lack real world experience. As a direct result:

  • On-line & off-line marketing are not integrated & engage no one
  • The DNA of competitive advantage has never been clearly identified
  • Copy is written by amateurs with no direct response call to action
  • Lead generation & conversion ratios can not be measured
  • Customer database management is dysfunctional
  • Conversion percentages & costs from media investments are unknown
  • Millions of dollars are being left on the table

The point we're trying to make is that if you're not thinking strategic about your go-to-market initiative, your tactics will never maximize the opportunity at hand. Once you "strategize" on the outcome of each tactic, you need to develop an actual "process" to implement that idea with piercing effectiveness at the tactical level.

To maximize your success, focus on how your tactics will be integrated to achieve the ultimate objective or reputation that you want to achieve. Most companies NEXTLevel has worked with do not look at their tactics as an integrated program.

Here's another example. Let's say you're given the opportunity to present to 500 of the most influential potential buyers for your products or services in the country. And let's say with a strong degree of certanity, that this one single opportunity, if executed properly, could change your life and financial earnings forever. Not much pressure, right?

Now, imagine standing at the podium and prior to being introduced, the facilitator walks over to you and hands you a 3" x 5" white index card. You look down at the card & it reads: "You can only use 25 words in your presentation. Good Luck!"  What will you say? How will you say it? What's the most important message you can deliver about your company, your product, or your service that will have the most impact? What impression will 500 of the most influential potential buyers be left with at the end of your 25-word presentation?

Tough assignment...isn't it?

This is strategic marketing at it's optimum best. It's the ability to out-think, out-smart, out-sell, and out-last your competition. You accomplish this by creating a compelling communications dialog that's concise. It has a laser focus. And it's delivered with precision accuracy in a language your prospects & customers understand. It's having the uncanny ability to convey your competitive advantage with a conviction so powerful, profits skyrocket. Marketing then, is both an art & a science. Not to be left in the hands of an apprentice, but to be placed under the careful direction & leadership of experts who understand the psychology of human behavior.

Results-driven marketing- It's the difference between success & failure in business. Since 1984, it has become the DNA that defines NEXTLevel's existence. It ignites the passion we integrate daily into building high-profit companies. If we are fortunate enough to leave behind a legacy, marketing will be the foundation in which our dynasty was built.
